No December Report(Christmas Party)
November 15 Club Report
The November meeting of the Azalea Coast Ametuer Radio Club was called to order at 1900 hrs by president Charlie Vaughn(K4UWH). Each individual present introduced themselves and related any ham radio activity to the other members.
There was no old business to take care of.
Under new business the club voted to keep the same officers for the calender year 2012.
The battleship crew will be on board the ship on December 6 & 7 in observance of Pearl Harbor day. President Charlie Vaughn gave a report of his trip to the Carribean with two other ham radio operators.
They were able to make many contacts all over the world.
The December meeting will be the Annual Christmas Party. The meeting was adjourned at 2030 hrs.Norman Clemmons(KI4YSY)
October 18, 2011 Club Report
President Charlie Vaughn(K4UWH) called the meeting to order at 1915 hrs. Each individual present gave an update of his recent radio activity. Beach to Battleship coming up on October 29, 2011 was discussed. There is still a need for volunteers. Information can be obtained at www.nampublicservice.org if interested. Discussion on having a Christmas party in place of the December meeting. A date was not settled on, Ed (W3NZ) is looking for a location. President Charlie Vaughn (K4UWH) gave a very informative discussion on propogation. The meeting was adjourned 2030 hrs.

President Charlie Vaughn (K4UWH) opened the meeting at 1900 hrs.
Each person in attendance introduced themselves. Allen Pellnat (KX2H) gave the treasures report.
Charlie Vaughn (K4UWH) presented a program on a Double 'H' Bay Antenna.
Jack Jacobs (WD4OIN) won the 50-50. President Charlie Vaughn dismissed the meeting at 2015 hrs.

August 16,2011 Club Report
Vice President Don Hall(N4OFF) called the meeting to order at 1900 hrs. Each person in attendance introduced themselves and spoke of current activities associated with ham radio. Allen Pellnat(KX2H) gave the treasures report.
There was no old or new business. David McGough(KB4FXC) gave a very interesting program on Home-Brew antennas plus pictures of this years field day.
VP Don Hall closed the meeting at 2020 hrs.

July 19,2011 Club Report
The July meeting of the azealea coast amatuer radio club was held at Cape Fear Community College on July 19,2011. President Charlie Vaughn (N4UWH) opened the meeting at 1905 hrs. Each person in attendance introduced themselves and made a brief comment. Allen Pellnat (KX2h) gave the treasure report. A copy of the report can be obtained upon request. The beach to battleship triatholon will be held on october 29,2011. Members are encouraged to participate in this event because the people running the event are very supportive of amatuer radio.
President Charlie Vaughn (N4UWH) gave a report on field day that was held on the last weekend in June,2011. Bill Morine (N2COP) gave a report on field day held in various locations in western North Carolina. Each year Bill travels to these events on a rotating basis in the state.
Under new business, Paul Sweeney reported that due to cut backs at CFCC for the rest of this year in order to hold a meeting we would need an employee of CFCC present. As for using CFCC for 1 Saturday a quarter to give Volunteer test that it's not on the books. Paul is still trying to get us a room. After December nothing is guaranteed.

June 21, 2011 Club Report
Meeting was cancelled due to fire at CFCC.
May 17,2011 Club Report
President Charlie Vaughn called the meeting to order at 1900 hrs. Each member introduced themselves to the group. The treasurer Allen Pellnat gave a financial report. Wilmington International Airport sent the club a check for $429 for working the air show. A reminder that museum ships day is scheduled for June 4 & 5. Anyone wishing to help should meet at the battleship around 830 am. Annual field day was discussed and it was determined that we would have only one station operating and would be used for cw and ssb both. President Charlie Vaughn gave a demonstration on a homemade shooter used to get lines in high places. Meeting was adjourned at 2030 hrs.

April 19, 2011 Club Report
President Charlie Vaughn (K4UWH) called the meeting to order at 1900 hrs at Cape Fear Community College. Everyone present introduced themselves and commented on current activities they were invoved in.
A report was given on the air show at New Hanover Airport which took place on april 16 & 17.
A discussion was held on the annual field day that is coming up on june 25 & 26 of this year. It was suggested that we run only one station and that it be used for cw and sideband.
Allen Pellnat(KX2H) gave the treasures report and a budget for this year.
President Charlie Vaughn gave instructions on how to access Log Book Of The World . There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 2040 hrs.

March 15, 2011 Club Report
President Charlie Vaughn opened the meeting at 7:10PM with general introductions of all eight members present.
Treasurer's report can be received from the treasurer.
Charlie reported that the club's ICOM IC-746 transciever is not working correctly and will need to be sent off for repair. No immediate action taken.
Jack Jacobs reported that the motor-generator set for the TDE transmitter on the battleship has a shorted armature and has been sent to Florida for repair.
A request was recieved to add several NHRMC licensed employees associated with the CARES network to our e-mail distribution list. Jack Jacobs will handle it.
Brad reported a lack of volunteers for the upcoming air show on 4/16 and 4/17.
Meeting concluded with a slide show presentation by Charlie K4UWH on his vacation operation as PJ7/K4UWH. Meeting adjourned 8:50PM

February 15, 2011 Club Report
Vice President Don Hall(N4OFF) called the meeting to order at 1905 hrs. Each attendee introduced themselves and gave their call sign and told about there past months ham activity.
Allen Pellnat(kx2h) gave the treasures report. Under old business the battleship donated cards to use for QSL cards.
The NC QSO party is going to be Febuary 27, 2011 from 1200 noon until 1000 pm. All area Hams are invited to help make this a successful club outing.
Bill Morine gave a very interesting program on navigating the ARRL web page and followed that with a very interesting talk and display on Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS).
The meeting was adjourned at 2030hrs by vice president Don Hall (N4OFF).

January 18, 2011 Club Report
Vice President Don Hall called the meeting to order at 1900 hrs. Each member introduced themselves. Our treasure Allen Pellnat (KX2H) gave a financial report. Any member wanting a copy can get in touch with Allen.
Don (N4OFF) said our monday night net is having more members participating lately. Under new business Bill Usher (AG4PA) suggested the club purchase QSL cards for the battelship. Motion was passed by the club.
Also the air show is going to be held this year on April 16 and 17. Julian, WD4FTR and Paul, KB4QCE are running it again.
It was decided that we would try and have another hamfest at the battleship on May 7 if this date was acceptable for the battleship. Jack Jacobs (WD4OIN) gave a short program on the QSO party that is to be held on Febuary 27. The battleship (NI4BK) will be an honor station for the party. The club voted to club sponser one of the awards for this event. Our intention is to have four station working for the QSO Party, 2 CW and 2 sideband and we will need a lot of help.
